We took the de-constructed chukka boot concept and added an elastic lacing system and plastic toggle inspired by triathlon runners. The Brother Basil also features an ultra-light weight bottom unit and comfortable footbed for weight savings and comfort. Brother Basil is also the name of a monk at our all-boys high school. If he caught you running across the grass in the courtyard, he would kick your ass.
